Got the book at midnight and could not put it down. Easy read and easy style of writing (just took half a night about 3-4 hours)
Compelling stories and life lessons.
It starts off of his childhood days trying to start a mail order business. His pizza shop at harvard. Then his selling of companies.
I like how he valued experiences as well as making money.
I like how he focused on trying to improve every way he can.
I also liked how near the end of the book, he asks the reader to interact by asking what are your goals and why. That made me think about my goals in life and what makes me happy.
I’m not as courageous as him but he does inspire me to be so.
He talks about his life lessons from playing poker, going to raves, first job right after college at oracle, his selling of his first company and his passion for the customer experience with zappos.
My public notes on the book is here: my notes on delivering happiness
