I’m not so sure that the tax code favors the rich. What you are reading is the experience of a highly talented investor who knows how to manage his risk in investing. The tax code applies to all investors (smart or dumb investors). So my question to you is what is a fair capital gains tax rate for investors who take risk with their money. Or better yet, would you still want to risk in your money in this Great Recession knowing that you would end up paying close to 40% in taxes if you are fortunate enough to make money on your risk.
I thought you would want to read Fiction: Town of Cats, by Haruki Murakami. http://nyr.kr/pBpbTF

Some advice i need to take from my hero
Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

Subject: RE: a plea to rappers
The whole thing with Farrakhan talking is damn good. Very moving.
But my guess is that he must have so much regret in his life cuz his black
people have been no better off…even with all his speeches, pleas and rallys.
"Let’s sit down and talk with our rappers
And help them to see
that we can make a better people
And we need their help……
………
We’re in bad shape my brother
But as a man soweth, the same shall he also reap
And that’s why Jesus told Peter
Sheath your sword
Because those who live by the sword
Will die by it…
I’m fearful for our people’s future…."
