Airbnb.com to book rooms inexpensively – A review

after hearing this interview I installed airbnb iphone app. I thought i would be a good way to book inexpensive rooms. However the room rates are not that discounted to my dismay.

But there are unique rooms such as a room on a boat in India. At $700+/night, it becomes rather an expensive bed n breakfast.

I found the founders story interesting where his idea of airbnb was to make some money housing people from a convention when hotel rooms in the city where sold out everywhere and they had to make monthly rent for his apartment.

He left his job with $1000 and moved to SF without having an idea yet. Pretty gutsy.

Easy to sign up. Going to try the service.
